SOLD!  To D&D City Farm, Indiana.

Sadie is a 13.3 HH, 2003 black-bay Arabian mare with a loving personality.  She gave us a superb little bay colt by GoodNight JohnBoy in 2008 (her colt has been sold).  She was not bred back as we do not plan to retain her.  As nice as she is, she is not registered and will be sold.  We are moving to all registered mares.

This little mare has been started under saddle and is going extremely well on the trails.  I have yet to find a trail that was too tough for her.  She has been to Brown County on 5 different camping trips this year.  Every trip has racked up 15-25 trail miles each.  She crosses water and mud.  Sadie has no problems drinking from water found on the trail in creeks, mud puddles, and hoof marks.  She is very forward and loves to see what’s around the next bend.  For those on a mission to find their next Competitive Trail or Endurance horse, this little girl has the brains and the body (and the feet) to take you anywhere!  Sadie walks right into the trailer and rides quietly.  She doesn’t fret while in camp, and will stand quietly tied as long as you ask (even through a thunderstorm during the night her very first night in the woods!).  She will ride away from the group and allows other horses to ride away from her without becoming upset.  All of this from a young, green mare!  If you are looking for a friendly, correctly built and beautiful mare for your barn please contact us.  The further along the summer gets, the more time under saddle she will have.  I take her camping at least once a month for 1-2 days.

This is a video of her colt from 2008:
